It's Official!

Mom and Dad are married!   

The ceremony was simple and beautiful.  But more importantly, I now hold my head high as I strut into the dog park.  Goodbye are the days of being called a bastard.....an illegitimate child....or being raised in a house of sin.  We're a REAL family now!

We've been celebrating with triathlon.........

after triathlon.........after triathlon (sigh). 

P.S. That's my grandpop behind me!   He wins races too.

Back To The Cat

I've decided that the cat and I should be best friends 

(since apparently he's staying). 

His name is Lance.  Lance The Cat.

We do lots together.....like watch TV......

and play games......

........and nuzzle.

Name That Thing

This thing came to my house on Saturday....
it's Monday and it hasn't left.

What on earth IS IT??

Whatever it is....it's can't be up to any good.
Maybe if I stare at it long enough, it'll come to me.

In the meantime, if you can help me figure out what it is,
I'll let you have half of my bone.

My New Year's Resolution

I chewed over a few ideas this past week and have finalized my New Year's Resolution list.

1) Work on my recall outside;
2) Learn to walk off leash;
3) Eat a slipper.

Dog Days of Summer

With all this rain, I get the distinct feeling that summer is coming to an end. And in case you are wondering, I had a fantastic summer.

This summer I got to hang out with my best dog Aegis. People say we could be brother and sister, which is a compliment because Aegis is named after a triathlon bike. That and he is incredibly handsome.

I also played one of my favorite games called

"Hey Marley, play with me! Come on Marley! Play!"

With so many great memories, I can't help but put in one last plea to Aegis and Marley.....Don't Go!!!!

Happy Anniversary!

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of when
my parents brought me home.

To celebrate, I escaped after my morning walk and let mama
chase me around for a half an hour.

Sorry mama, but a little "time out" isn't going to ruin my day!
