Hurricane Sandy

I've finally come out of hiding.  I've been hunkered down since the news broke that Hurricane Sandy was going to wreak havoc on the east coast.  I'm not a fan of rain.  Mostly because it dampens my beautiful brown fur.  

I begged and pleaded not to be taken outside.....

  

And yet, my parents insisted that I wear this ridiculous raincoat.

They won.  But I made sure to resist the entire walk purely based on principle.

It's Official!

Mom and Dad are married!   

The ceremony was simple and beautiful.  But more importantly, I now hold my head high as I strut into the dog park.  Goodbye are the days of being called a bastard.....an illegitimate child....or being raised in a house of sin.  We're a REAL family now!

We've been celebrating with triathlon.........

after triathlon.........after triathlon (sigh). 

P.S. That's my grandpop behind me!   He wins races too.

Back To The Cat

I've decided that the cat and I should be best friends 

(since apparently he's staying). 

His name is Lance.  Lance The Cat.

We do lots together.....like watch TV......

and play games......

........and nuzzle.

How sweet....right?

Name That Thing

This thing came to my house on Saturday....
it's Monday and it hasn't left.

What on earth IS IT??

Whatever it is....it's can't be up to any good.
Maybe if I stare at it long enough, it'll come to me.

In the meantime, if you can help me figure out what it is,
I'll let you have half of my bone.

My New Year's Resolution

I chewed over a few ideas this past week and have finalized my New Year's Resolution list.

1) Work on my recall outside;
2) Learn to walk off leash;
3) Eat a slipper.
